How Photobooths work
We will arrive on site at least one and one half hour before the start of your event. Set-up takes 1 hour and then we are ready to begin our service. The booth is four feet wide by five feet deep by seven feet high. Once set up the booth virtually runs itself. A Photo Booth Concierge will be on site for the entire event to direct traffic and help with the scrap booking package we offer. We offer photo strips in either color or the more traditional black and white options. The entire event will be printed in either option, but the photos will be saved in both formats to be hosted on our website. This way your guests can order prints after the wedding in color or black and white.
Your guest will walk up to the booth and enter by sliding the shimmery curtain to one side. Upon entering they will stand at one end of the booth while looking at the LCD screen. The screen has a message that welcomes the guest and asks them to press the illuminated push button mounted on the wall. Once the button is pressed, it begins the cycle that will ultimately produce the photo strip. The next message to appear reminds the guest to look at the camera that is mounted above the screen and instructs that four pictures will be taken. A countdown then begins "4.....3.....2......1.....Say Cheese!" and the first picture is snapped. After each picture is taken, the result is displayed on the screen momentarily until the next picture is snapped. At the end, all four pictures are displayed and a message appears over the pictures that instructs the guest that their photo strip will be ready momentarily. The screen then returns to the welcome message and is ready for the next guest to enjoy the experience.
The photo strip that the booth produces is a two inch by seven inch strip of photo paper that has four pictures printed with an optional personalized message on the bottom. This message usually is the name of the bride and groom as well as the date of the wedding. Other events use this space as a method of advertising a brand name or product. Fund raisers have used a simple thank you message from the organization to the generous participant. We print the strips in either black & white or in color, but most people choose black & white as it is more traditional. A new feature to our booths allows us to print the customized bottoms in color while the photos are in black and white.

With a rental from Laguna Beach Photobooth there is no need to provide disposable cameras on each table. Leave the candid photography to the professionals. Our booths are equipped with professional lighting and a 10 megapixel camera that will capture the lighter side of you wedding all night long. Disposable cameras have a very low percentage of quality photos as the people using them are not trained in photography and the quality of disposable cameras to begin with is very low. Every photo we take is saved to a DVD as an individual photo that can then be taken to a digital print lab and be developed at a fraction of the cost of disposable cameras. There is no need to develop 30 cameras worth of photos, with our DVD you can select just the pictures you like and only get those developed. This can save you hundreds and hundreds of dollars!
Laguna Beach Photobooth will provide your wedding with professional scrapbooking tools so your guests can make a personalized book for you right on site. Guests will get their favor to take home with them, but will also be provided with a duplicate strip that they can place into a scrapbook and then write a personalized message. These books are a wonderful way to supplement the traditional albums your photographer will provide. Our book will be filled with candid photos and emotion-filled messages that can never be recreated or duplicated once this night has passed.
